This little badge was a fond memory on days spent in Barcelona while attending the IASI* summit in the year 2002.

esportcat is the sports department of Catalunya, of course. These days, sixteen years later, it is called esport.gencat.cat.

Sorry for the slightly blurry image. The photo was taken in a ahurry just before putting it in the geocache somewhere under Mount Olševa in Slovenia.

I do have another memento from the Barcelona meeting at esportcat :)

*IASI stands for International Association of Sports Information, an ogranisation which at some time connectes sports information experts from all over the world. These was before the days of instant internet access to almost everything when expert insights and the quality of information still mattered.
