Wednesday Yellow #colorchallenge And Updates About Hubby

This is the sign for the pizza place we ate at the Farmers Market in downtown Indy some time ago and it is my contribution to @kalemandra color challenge.

What I didn't realize when I told you it was -2° F here yesterday morning, was that the windchill was -22° F. Can we say, "Burr"! I thought I was going to freeze while cleaning off the car and I had on all of my winter gear.

Poor Hubby was moving slow but we made it to the Dr on time. The Dr gave him more medicine, a shot in the butt and had me schedule another shot in the rear for Thursday afternoon.

I'm glad she's not playing about getting Hubby over this pneumonia because I'm not either. The Dr also grounded Jon from work for at least the rest of the week. :D

I obviously know it's Wednesday but today feels like Monday to me. I guess it's because I am going back to work. That doesn't even make sense because I do not work every Monday. But it feels how it feels. lol

Hubby won't be totally on his own tomorrow. My son is off work with an injured back. (He's going to be okay, it's just a pulled muscle.) Between the two of them, I am sure they will manage until I get home around 3:00 PM.

I suspect Hubby feels a tiny bit better. He has not been eating unless I push it on him. Even then, he really has not eaten. Tonight he asked if we had any chips.

Yes, you heard it here folks, the man wanted chips. I mean, I would have preferred he wanted something healthy but I was glad to see him want food or something food like at all. :)

I'll consider it a win and take it. However, I best take it on my way to work because its nearly time to go. I hope you all have a wonderful day and I will make my way around to see you guys this evening.

You really are a great woman you know? Inspite of all things you still have time 2 spend with your family! I really applaud you for that. Hope your hubby and son are doing great now... Just take things easy on yourself, ait.

Thank you, I appreciate it. :)

Hubby is doing better today, he's eating better and his spirits are up. My son is still having issues but they could not make him a quick appointment, due to it being a new to him Dr, so he's still waiting for his appointment date.

When I'm sick, salty chips is about all I want. Not good for us, but at least it's something, like you said. Glad he is on the mend. Nasty stuff, that pneumonia, and like you said, no messing about with it. You're a good nurse. Stay warm if you can.

Thank you. He still has a persistent cough but I can tell his spirits are up now. He even ate 3 meals today. :D

If he's eating, must be on the mend for sure. Soup and humor TV, I always say. And lots of water. (And shots in the bum for good measure).

He hates those shots. lol

Hunger is usually the first sign of improvement!

It is and he had a sandwich in his hand when I returned home from work yesterday. :D

(PS. Hope he recovers well)

I hope you are staying healthy during all of this! Least he has your kind heart to make sure he is being looked after.

I hope he gets well soon and stay warm their!

Thanks so much @enjar

So glad to hear that your husband is getting better! I hope you will have a great day at work and be safe out there!

Didn't want to say to you this before, but my friend lost her husband to pneumonia!

Thanks! It's 12° F but feels like -4° F this morning. I'll take it in comparison to what we have had. :D

Thank you for being considerate. I was a CNA for 10 years though so I knew how dangerous it can be. Especially the older we get. It's a good thing he has me though, he'd be about dead before he went to the Dr on his own. He's gotten better since knowing I will not stand for anything else though. :)

Yes, he is very lucky to have you, and the best thing is HE LISTENS!

Asking for something to eat is a good sign, no matter what it is :-) Maybe his body is craving for crunchy, and salty thing!

Hopefully you had some salty chips at home for hubby. Did you? Chips are sorta like chicken noodle soup except with lots of crunch, no liquid to spill and they are portable to eat. Lol! Poor guy needing not one butt two shots.
Good luck on your Thursday-Monday at work @debralee and I hope your day goes by quickly!

We did have some salty chips for him. Yeah, he's not a fan of the butt shots, he said they hurt.

Thanks. I work today and tomorrow but then I'm off until Wednesday of next week. :D

I hope that your hubby will be in full recovery soon. I love pizzas too.

when I hear the pizza I'm heading back.
I am a complete pizza lover !!!

Me too!! And I didn't get to have any today. Dang work. lol

I am glad to know there's improvement. Sending prayers for fast recovery.

Thank you!!
