Coins of my father's: Quarters

Most of the quarters missing in this set are before 1959 but it seems mostly complete after that year.

In 1992 Canada minted a set of quarters for each of the 10 provinces and 2 territories

In 1999-2000 the Canadian Mint announced the Millennium Coin Design Contest open to all citizen to submit a design with one to be released each month. The set from 1999 was meant to look back on Canada's past while the 2000 set was designed to look to the future.

2004 Remembrance Day coin

This was the first colored general circulation coin in the world.

2004-2010

In 2006, Canada released a Pink Ribbon coin in support of breast cancer awareness.

These 3 coins are the oldest ones in the set. The first one is too worn out to identify. The second one is a 1913 and the third one is from 1918
