CoinMarketCap is not enough to analyze the cryptocurrency market

Although CoinMarketCap is the reference par excellence in cryptocurrencies with a large database that already reaches 2440 crypto assets and despite the importance for the ecosystem, the published information is not entirely reliable.

The information shown from Bitcoin and other large cryptocurrencies with similar to their real volumes, and the cryptoactive small ones display erroneous information, with tiny daily volumes, even when they have a large market capitalization.

This problem is not only seen in small cryptocurrencies, but also among the first 100 cryptocurrencies on the list. Someone with little experience could consider that these currencies give good performance being trapped in positions of illicit currencies and markets.

A curious case is Energi (NRG) has a capitalization of USD 137,650,881 and is located in position 47 of the list, but the daily exchange volume does not reach 1% of that figure, with the price approximately $ 7 per Currency have only reached 847,825 USD.
