British authorities want to tax exchanges

Since Facebook announced Libra, worldwide governments have begun to place greater emphasis on the regulation of the cryptocurrency market and the development of Blockchain technology, making these regulations progress more and more.

This time it is the British government, the authorities are pressing the exchanges to provide information of their users, this would imply taxes on each transaction that is carried out through the platform.

This request has already been made to three major exchanges such as eToro, CoinBase and CEX.IO, so far none of the three has ruled corresponding to the matter.
