Keep track of crypto events

in #coin5 years ago

Coinmarket Calendar isn't used by that many people in crypto, but it's a useful resource. CoinMarket Calendar has the ability to add events for several different altcoins, as well as get alerts from your favorite altcoins.

With this site you are able to see a lot of different important events like the Litecoin halvening scheduled to take place sometime in August of this year.

Some of the events are fake or the users are not confident in the even taking place which is the reason for the confidence factor based on the number of votes.

The higher the score of confidence means that there were more votes in favor of the event taking place. For example, for the Litecoin halvening there was about a 95% confidence score on the site.

You can search for keywords like Airdrop and find relevant information about airdrops or dividend distribution events for a bunch of different altcoins.

If you want the website to have more accurate information about your favorite altcoin, then you can create an event and have some of your friends vote on the event you created as a real event. Coinmarket cal has a lot of information on their site, but there is also a lot of information missing about altcoins and popular events including meetups for each coin.

On the site you can also see information like the coin burn for Binance or BNB scheduled for the end of the month of June according to the site.

You can also search for important information regarding Roadmap updates, live or online meetups, hard fork planned dates, and a lot more.

I have been researching a lot of altcoins, and it would be great to have all of the information about a handful of my favorite coins in one place in order to save time. This site doesn't have perfect information, but it is still a good research tool to keep yourself a bit more organized.

Their site also sends out a newsletter daily in order to let their subscribers know about upcoming events or the altcoins that they are currently watching.

What is your favorite altcoin?

This site is a great resource, and the confidence factor element prevents wasted time. I use this one and also Coindar, as the two sites are complimentary. Coindar is cool because it's account-based, so you can join a Telegram bot which will message you about events for favorited cryptos.

Cool, I just heard about Coindar for the first time. I use Telegram and Twitter for most of my crypto research, so that would be helpful. Thanks
