Coconut shells can be used as charcoal, fuel, and handicrafts. Coconut flesh can be eaten directly, and processed into coconut milk, coconut oil, and various processed foods. In addition to its economic value, coconut trees also have an important ecological role. Its roots help prevent soil erosion in coastal areas, while its canopy provides shade and reduces the impact of wind. In various regions, coconut trees also have cultural and religious values. For example, in traditional ceremonies or religious rituals, coconuts are often used as a symbol of fertility, prosperity, and life.
