Hello everyone! A few weeks ago we reviewed a few of our early Tang poems in case you missed them when we first started our project. This week, we will review the next three poems.
大家好！兩星期前我們重溫了《樂筆詩塾》介紹的頭幾篇唐詩，這個星期，就讓我們繼續重溫跟著的三首唐詩！
Asking the moon with my wine by LI Bai《李白-把酒問月•故人賈淳令予問之》

LI Bai is undoubtedly the most prominent poet in Chinese history. He is known for his love of wine and is said to often get his inspiration and writes great poems from being a bit . He wrote this poem as he was having a couple of drinks, observing the moon and pondering the value of life and the moon’s eternity. Life’s finity and worries didn’t make him sad though. In fact, it made him appreciate life even more. Perhaps with the value of Steem right now, we should take a leaf from LI’s book.
李白毫無疑問是中國歷史中知名度最高的詩人了，相傳他是個超級酒鬼，很多名傳千古的偉大作品中，都是啟發自他醉後天馬行空的世界。《把酒問月》是李白在喝多兩杯後，望向明月，思考著生命的意思及月亮的永恒時所寫的詩作，生命的短暫其實並未添其悲懷，反倒讓他更欣賞生命的寶貴。也許，在現時Steem的低迷幣值下，我們也應該仿效一下李太白。
The Beautiful Se (Jin Se) by LI Shangyin《李商隱-錦瑟》

LI Shangyin was a charming and talented scholar, admired by many ladies in his days. He often wrote love poems for his admirers, and these became his most well known works. Rumour has is that LI wrote “Jin Se” in memory of his wife, yet others says it was written for a maid who work for his mentor. Either way, reading between the lines you can feel his sorrow for the love that will never be again.
李商隱是一位傑出且非凡的才子，更是萬千少女的偶像。他寫下了很多給愛慕者的情詩，這些詩作亦成為了今天的名作。而諷刺的是，《錦瑟》卻是他寫給亡妻的感懷之作，雖然同時也有很多人認為這首詩是寫給他老師的侍女。不論如何，就讓我們在《錦瑟》的字裡行間細細感受李商隱那不復見的愛與悲。
A Night Mooring by the Maple Bridge by Zhang Ji 張繼《楓橋夜泊》

Zhang Ji isn’t as well known as his contemporaries such as Li Bai, Du Fu and Li Shangyin, all whom we’ve introduced in the previous posts. However, his most famous poem, “A Night Mooring by the Maple Bridge” is considered a classic and is studied by many today. In this simple four line poem he encapsulates his surroundings perfectly and readers can visualise for themselves how he felt when he was stranded on board a boat mooring by the Maple Bridge one evening.
雖然張繼不像同時代的李白、杜甫或李商隱那樣出名，但他的詩作《楓橋夜泊》卻成為了唐詩經典中的經典。簡簡單單的四行字，已足夠讓張繼表達其身邊的所情所境，讓讀者尤如置身楓橋夜泊的小艇，一同感受作者的思鄉之情。
