RE: Does Wearing Sexy Outfits Make You Less Respectable?

in #clothing6 years ago (edited)

It honestly depends on your definition of sexy outfit.
Back home in most African countries, anything above the knee, and revealing shoulders, too much neck is deemed sexy.
As compared to the Philippines, short dresses , sleeveless are still much acceptable and not deemed revealing, yet in my country.. U cannot enter a public office with leggings , but leggings here are widely acceptable.. Hahahaja
But having lived in both worlds, i know exactly where the issue lies. You have given me an idea for a post.

On the other hand, most women dont wear sexy clothes with literal intentions of attracting the opposite sex. And that shouldnt be an excuse for rape.HER BODY, HER CHOICE. Women are just comfortable in their own skin . Whoever sees a woman in revealing clothes screaming sex or rape is a PERVERT and the real issue . they are the ones to be checked, unless such is worn in an environment that is meant for such, eg strip bars.

Lastly, i think culture should play a big role. We have been so westernized that we forget our origin and decency.
Women should also dress for their body type.

Arguing from 3 sides of the coin.

I rest my case.

Absolutely @purpletanzanite. It all comes out with respect on both sides. Respect yourself in your own ways and be responsible on how you treat others.
