Today I will be showing you arround my community to discuss how evidence that climate change is real and is already here is being felt In our every day life.
Climate change is simply an alteration from the normal weather conditions of a place which can be in terms of temperature or precipitation over a longer period of time. This changes are not common to Hunan and are adverse with devastating effects even in the long run.

In my community today arround jakiri and the entire Bui division. There is enough reason to stand up against climate change since the effects have been felt in many dimensions. There has been absolute rise in temperatures and the capacity of rainfall in our community is so intense that most farmers are experiencing hard times meeting up with the production targets. The duration of rainfall and intensity of the of the sunshine has changed dramatically as to how it used to be many years ago. The rain now fall heavily and mostly windy with hail storms that are capable of floating hectares of land and destroying houses like the recent case in Babessi 2 years ago. The intensity of the sunshine in my community today is such that farmers have to be predictive of when exactly and where they are supposed to grow certain crops successfully to limit the risk of drought. A glearing example of how farmers in my community are experiencing their own share of the climate change is seen in groundnuts cultivation where 90% of farmers in my community experience poor yeilds with some farmers not even getting back the quantity of the seeds they planted this year. Plants that response to many hours of sunshine to bear or change their stage of growth do not understand this changing weather paradigm thus causing plants to flower at an inappropriate time with low growth and consequently low yeilds.

This has been accompanied by strong winds that do not only destroy farm crops but also render some inhabitants homeless. Landslide has been withnessed in many parts of my community where portions of farm yard, ranch paddocks and bridges have been slided off . Note has been taken that effects on each climate change action in the feild has a co- effect on the other. For example, the long sunny hours and the heat produced weakens the soil and leaves the plants vulnerable to wind which easily breaks the plants down and later on heavy down pours continue to erode the already destroyed vegetation thus creating more and more problems for farmers. The quality and quantity of almost all the crops affected by this effects change alot .

Many farmers In My community today experience alot of food waste sometimes due to poor weather conditions that inhibit them from reaching to their customers on time . For example garri producers who depend on sunny days to produce their garri are sometimes disappointed by heavy rains that might take several days . The hailstorm rain fall destroys mostly leafy crops like pumkins, huckleberry s, coco yams and so on.

There is no doubt if this climate crisis effects are going to be worst in the years ahead in my community. It's high time all of us stand up and take action globally against this climate challenge. The time is now or never. Planting trees arround our farms to serve as wind breaks, practicing Agroforestry as a sustainable and reliable system to help meet up the challenges we are facing . Diversifying our agriculture so as to meet up with weather challenges at the moment are some of the key actions to take. Thanks for stopping by to read . The climate crisis is real.

Climate change is a reality we most face bro. Look at October and see the amount of rain fall, but consider how September was. It's a reality to face...
Thank you for the write up

This is a good survey you have done and presented here. What we need to do is to take total control and fight with all our might. Thanks for educating us.
