Ya, definitely. This was a long time ago, and I mention it more for the anecdote and what you can learn from it. But ya, absolutely. I tried to talk but he wouldn't budge on the rules lol. I think the owner basically felt like he knew the guy was irrational and attached to his system and just didn't want to bother with him. It was probably like he didn't want to cause friction and need to find a new roommate.

But ya, I think he probably should have put his foot down and rethought the cleaning policy.
