It effects his sex life as well as his partners sex life.
Women with circumcised partners are twice more likely to be sexually frustrated. Circumcised men develop a thin layer of hard skin on the glans which decreases sensitivity. This means he has to go harder to feel and achieve an orgasm, which can make sex more painful for women.
One of the foreskin functions is the gliding action. When the intact penis enters the vagina, the foreskin is pulled back. On its way out, the foreskin goes back over the glans. This is stimulating for both the man and the woman, and acts as its own lubrication.
With a circumcised man, there's no gliding sensation and the sex has more friction. This can have a painful effect on the woman's mucous membrane. It causes dryness and women are often blamed for this. However, this is what circumcised sex does, and usually requires usage of lube. Women are also more likely to experience severe swell, get a UTI, as well as possible yeast infection.

It can always be done late!

Your baby is more likely to die from circumcision than he is to getting infections.
Over 100 (119 annually) babies die from circumcision, and this estimate does not include common deaths associated with circumcision such as stroke, shock, bleeding, infection, reactions to anesthesia (if it's used at all), collapsed lung from screaming, which are often not recorded as circumcision related deaths. Medical statistics do not give an accurate/true cause of death, and the number of circumcision related deaths is actually much higher than what is listed annually.
However, when you still compare to whats documented, deaths from suffocation (44) and 115 deaths to SIDS (which is recently coming to light that circumcision contributes to SIDS) and both of these things raise awareness to both medical authorities and parents, yet they turn a blind eye to circumcision deaths. Cribs that kill a couple children get recalled, same with carseats and bottles. It doesn't take much. But people choose to turn a blind eye to the fact that circumcision is more likely to kill your baby.
Risk assessments for unnecessary surgery should be held to a higher standard and it isn't being done.
In regards to infections, when a child gets a UTI or yeast infections, these are easily treatable just by change of diet alone. We also have modern medicine that can treat these infections. When little girls (and women) get these infections, it's not a question, we take care of them, and they're 4 times more likely to get these infections than boys altogether.
Boys on the other hand, the first thoughts that come to mind for Americans is "IS he circumcised?" even though both intact and cut boys (and men) get infections at the same rates of each other. Circumcision does not decrease the chances of getting these infections, diet is a bigger contributor to this.

Infections are easily treatable. Death and permanent side effects from circumcision is not.

Circumcision was reintroduced to American modern society bby Dr. Kellogg because he thought masturbation was dirty.

This man recommended dropping acid on little girls clitoris's and amputating part of a boys penis and making him feel everything... He even recommended caging their genitals. This guy clearly had a fetish for denial and pain. This is what pedophilia is. Adults do this in the BDSM community because it's a fetish.

Intact care is easy!
Just wipe base to tip, just like a finger. No retraction or manipulation of the foreskin as this can introduce outside bacteria (cause infections) and cause scar tissue build up which can create problems in his adult life such as phimosis.
The foreskin is fused to the glans and will separate on it's own, usually when the child starts to hit puberty, but it can vary from individual. Sometimes sooner, sometimes later. Phimosis cannot be diagnosed in children because the foreskin is suppose to be fused to keep outside bacteria and fecal matter out.

If we are to practice and teach freedom, we need to start by practicing that with our children. Their bodies are not your property. They are their own individual and we need to be teaching that to them. We also need to be teaching them respect by showing them respect and respect their bodies. Boys/men are born perfect, just as much as girls are.

And for the men who are circumcised, I highly value those of you who can look at circumcision for what it is and protect your sons from it despite what was done to you. Nobody wants to feel like there's something wrong with their genitals. Nobody wants to feel like they're broken. It's hard to not feel that when when this is discussed. You are not a broken man if you don't pass on the tradition of genital mutilation. Respectable men do not harm their babies.

Please, research before you make a permanent decision for your child. In an age of information, ignorance is a choice.
