R.I.P. David Lynch 🖤

16th of January of 2025.

What a sad day this will always be remembered as by the visual arts' fans all over the world. I still remember the first time I watched Blue Velvet, Mulholland Drive and, of course, the masterpiece Twin Peakes.

I had been talking with my brother about his work during our trip, since we had never before seen peaks as the ones from the mountains in Canada, with the pines, just like from Twin Peaks. We also delved deeply into how bizarre really are some first-world-problems, that can arise from having basic conditions and more privileges, which was displayed in Lynch's work wonderfully.

The world has lost a great and singular artist.

It is with deep regret that we, his family, announce the passing of the man and the artist, David Lynch. We would appreciate some privacy at this time. There’s a big hole in the world now that he’s no longer with us. But, as he would say, “Keep your eye on the donut and not on the hole.”

It’s a beautiful day with golden sunshine and blue skies all the way.

He was my favorite director, Twin Peaks changed my attitude to TV series forever.
