Government Regulation (PP) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 102 Year 2012 on "Cigarettes", approved by the President of RI dated 24-12-2012.
Still in socialization.

Among the core of the PP Cigarettes:

1. Warning photos of diseases of danger of cigarettes, on cigarette packaging by 40% on the front and rear.

2. Defined seven areas without cigarettes, as mentioned above.

3. Include writing prohibition of selling and providing cigarettes for people under the age of 18 and for pregnant women.

4. Cigarette advertisements in broadcast media may only be aired from 09:30 pm to 05:00 am. Advertising in print can not be on the main road and at KTR, ads should not be on the front page, should not be near food and beverage ads, may not enter print media for children, teens and women.

A media reported that 70 percent of smokers, want to stop smoking totally.
