in #churchlast month

Hello fellow steemian, friends and folk, this is natz04 and welcome to my blog.

Today, save the date 22nd of February, is the feast of Santo Niño de Cebu-Mactan Parish with the patron Viva Senyor Santo Niño, where it is located at barangay Mactan, Lapu-lapu City. It is one of the oldest catholic church in the city, and it's architectural design was inspired from the armour hat of Ferdinand Magellan.

According to history Ferdinand Magellan, is a Portuguese endeavor which serves the King of Spain and became a Spanish navigator who visited in Mactan on April 27, 1521 which is also the Battle of Mactan happened. They fought with the native hero of barangay Mactan Datu Lapu-lapu, which Datu Lapu-lapu did not agree to Ferdinand Magellan's proposal to spread- out christianity.

So how to reach this church? If you are a devotee, and you are from other places and countries then you want to joined the feast.

Citing a scenario, like for example if you are from the MCIA (Mactan Cebu International Airport), you just go to the taxi terminal then tell the driver you are going to Santo Niño de Cebu Mactan Parish and you will pay a fare equivalent to 4 steem, with the travel time of 20-30 minutes. But if you to want to save, you will ride twice via UBE bus (public utility bus), first ride with the route MCIA to Savemore supermarket with the fare of 0.6 steem, and second ride Savemore supermarket to Mactan Newtown via Soong with the same fare of 0.6 steem.
