I WANT ANOTHER CHRISTMAS 2 !!
Sometimes I wonder how soon I became this grown,
I think the clock ticks faster than it should,
I remember how my parents told us stories at moonlight, myself n siblings eat
from same bowl, fought, quarreled and yelled as we grew old,
Always found our ways to reconcile though.
There were no dull moments as the house is always lively and never cold.
Some years down the line, our eldest brother married and left the household,
Didn't feel his absence much as we were still knitted doing the usuals as one.
Subsequently, our eldest sis tied d knot too, but the last 3 musketeers were still fully home.
Down the line, one of the musketeers hooked up and things began to dawn...
My parents began to feel the emptiness and vacant seats in the dinning room...
Thank God for Christmas! every one is home with their household!
Having a full house with children having fun, playing games and having fun as one was what we needed!
We recalled those years of naughtiness and wishy washy ride.
The house became busy and lively again and my parents knew the difference.
I wish this would continue,
But just woke up to see no one left at home except mum and dad....
I want another Christmas!
Time is running like heartbeat's 😁
Infact, I seem to be left behind most times.
