PREDESTINATION 1

"BRING all who claim me as their God, FOR I HAVE MADE THEM FOR MY GLORY. It was I who created them.’ ”
Isaiah 43:7 (NLT)

• God would divinely order or direct the feet of those who belong to Him, to Himself. Things are made happen according to the election of Grace (Romans 8:28-30; 9:11).

  • The door of salvation is widely open for every human being, but no matter how, some would not walk through the door and embrace the salvation that is made available through Jesus' sacrificial death and resurrection (Revelation 3:20).
  • Things that happened in the life of whoever is of God are not accidental or coincidental, but God's incidents or occurrences. Being saved, born-again, is by God's mercy and goodness:
16 SO IT IS GOD WHO DECIDES TO SHOW MERCY. WE CAN NEITHER CHOOSE IT NOR WORK FOR IT. 17 FOR the Scriptures say that God told Pharaoh, “I have appointed you for the very purpose of displaying my power in you and to spread my fame throughout the earth.” 18 SO YOU SEE, GOD CHOOSES TO SHOW MERCY TO SOME, AND HE CHOOSES TO HARDEN THE HEARTS OF OTHERS SO THEY REFUSE TO LISTEN" (Romans 9:16–18 (NLT).
  • The chosen is based on the foreknowledge of God: "AND THOUGH THE TWINS WERE NOT YET BORN AND HAD NOT DONE ANYTHING EITHER GOOD OR BAD, SO THAT GOD'S PURPOSE [His choice, His election] WOULD STAND, NOT BECAUSE OF WORKS [done by either child], BUT BECAUSE OF [the plan of] HIM WHO CALLS THEM" (Romans 9:11 Amps).

• God through His infinite knowledge knows those who would appreciate and embrace the gift of salvation, and those who would trivialize it—make It of little importance or significance: “DO NOT GIVE WHAT IS HOLY TO THE DOGS; NOR CAST YOUR PEARLS BEFORE SWINE, LEST THEY TRAMPLE THEM UNDER THEIR FEET, AND TURN AND TEAR YOU IN PIECES" (Matthew 7:6 NKJV).
READ: Proverbs 15:5; 23:9

  • God knew Esau would be a profane person, who would not value whatever is given to him (Hebrews 12:16).
  • The message of salvation which you heard and made you remorseful; repented and accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. The same was heard by some people, but they trivialized and ignored it.
  • God did not make those who rejected the message of salvation did, but they chose to do it anyways; And humans, being a free moral being could choose to embrace God or not.
  • God would not create anyone and decided the person should be for destruction. No. The people who refused to embrace the message of salvation were predestined based on the foreknowledge of God that they would choose not to embrace or accept the message.

• God only preplanned every individual's life based on what He knew such would choose to do and be in his or her journey in life.

  • He, God, is not the One who would make them to do or not to do whatever He wanted; to refuse the Gospel of Christ or embrace it, but He knew they would do that. And He, God, preplanned their lives on that basis or purpose.
  • Note: God knew Pharaoh would harden his heart and would not allow the Israelites to go, except with a severe hands. So, God did help what would be Pharaoh's resolve. God had already told Moses At the back of the desert that Pharaoh would not want to allow the people, the Israelites, go, except with a severe hands (Exodus 3:19,20).
  • God was not the One who hardened Pharaoh's heart, but He knew he, Pharaoh, would do that; thus, He, God, did help his resolve—what he had wanted to do, or what God knew he would do.
  • Likewise those who would reject the Gospel of Christ and eventually ended up in hell fire were not made to do that by God, but God knew they would do that and eventually ended up in hell fire.
  • It is a choice life. Whatever would happen in your life, would by and large be your own personal choices—the decision you made or did not.

• The Scripture says, Pharaoh was raised, or appointed, or chosen, for destruction: "FOR THE SCRIPTURES SAY THAT GOD TOLD PHARAOH, “I HAVE APPOINTED YOU FOR THE VERY PURPOSE OF DISPLAYING MY POWER IN YOU AND TO SPREAD MY FAME THROUGHOUT THE EARTH" (Romans 9:17 NLT).

  • God is a just God, He would not appoint or raise someone purposely for destruction, but He knew Pharaoh would be obstinate and adamant, and would not want God's people to leave, thus, He preplanned things based on the condition of Pharaoh's heart:
19 “BUT I KNOW THAT THE KING OF EGYPT WILL NOT LET YOU GO UNLESS A MIGHTY HAND FORCES HIM. 20 SO I WILL RAISE MY HAND AND STRIKE THE EGYPTIANS, performing all kinds of miracles among them. THEN AT LAST HE WILL LET YOU GO" (Exodus 3:19,20 (NLT).
  • God knew those who would not accept the gospel, thus, their lives were planned and programmed to suit or agree or be in accordance with that.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Should there be any sickness in your body As you read this piece, I declare your healing now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
  • Living in health is God's Will for you As a believer in Christ Jesus, thus, hold of sicknesses is completely broken in your life today and never to rise again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!

b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
