12 ABISHAI SON OF ZERUIAH DESTROYED 18,000 EDOMITES IN THE VALLEY OF SALT.
13 He placed army garrisons in Edom, and all the Edomites became David’s subjects. In fact, the Lord made David victorious wherever he went.
14 So David reigned over all Israel and DID WHAT WAS JUST AND RIGHT FOR ALL HIS PEOPLE."
1 Chronicles 18:12-14 (NLT)

• You are a leader in your own right.

  • Being born-again enrolls you in the school of the Spirit—God's leadership training in the Kingdom. This training commences when you are not even aware that you are undergoing a training, or you are being trained or prepared for an assignment.
  • In your journey as a believer in Christ Jesus, God would allow you to be given some little responsibilities here and there, to test your ability—in preparation for where He is taking you.
  • The leadership training in the Kingdom is usually done gradually and unnoticed—without ceremonialism. You may not even know you are being prepared for anything, as said earlier.
  • The age that this commences varies, It has to do with individual's ability. In some people's cases, whilst their mates are still sleeping they are already awake, they have known what to do when an issue comes up.
  • Such usually discover their leadership skills early. Whilst in some, they potentially have the skills but their introverted nature could make them less responsive when they needed to.
  • Whatever group or category you fall into, If you are walking with God in the light of His Word and sensitive to the Holy Spirit, when the opportunity comes; you are prompted or appointed or assigned, to do a thing, do not hesitate or withdraw back, or retract to your shell—this might be peculiar to the introverts: "GOD DIDN'T GIVE US A COWARDLY SPIRIT BUT A SPIRIT OF POWER, LOVE, AND GOOD JUDGMENT" (2 Timothy 1:7 GOD’S WORD Translation).
  • Leadership starts with taking a responsibility, not shying away from what you ought to do. Being able to do the right thing, or the needful, when no one is there to monitor you, is one of the leadership attributes.
  • A leader is someone who does the right thing when no one is watching. Doing the right thing when no one is there to commend or applaud.
  • God is training whoever might be having it rough presently, such is undergoing the training for a purpose—an assignment. You would surely be tested variously in the process of the training.

• A large Heart.

  • If you wanted your rising in the leadership ladder to be accelerated or speeded, you have to possess a right heart, a fair mind, heart to accommodate others.
  • Fair heartedness or mindedness is one of the good attributes found in David and that thickened his leadership or reigning in Israel.

• Being born-again is a responsibility. You have a responsibility!

  • Your submission and humility are important and necessary for you and Him to walk in close fellowship or communion.
  • If your bond with God is strong, He would be able to work through you in raising others. Because the good things or attributes found in your life would be emulated by those who follow you.
  • Others would be raised through your character, manner of life, thus, God would like to work on the person of you; that those who are produced or raised through your life might be good.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

  • Should there be any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' name.
  • Whatever is contrary to your health is cursed and rooted out in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
    Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).

  • If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
