A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT 1

"THERE IS A WAY THAT SEEMS RIGHT TO A MAN, But its end is the way of death."
Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV)

• The supernatural controls the natural, that is, the spiritual realm controls the physical realm.

• For the reason that humans are finite in wisdom, knowledge, and understanding, thus, we need the help of God in navigating, or making one's way through this world of darkness.
• What seems right to Man, a human, might not be right at all. What looks good, pleasant, and blissful, might not be at all. This is the reason why a believer needs the guidance or the leading of God in his or her life.
• God is all knowing, all powerful, and His presence is everywhere. He cannot be wrong. And what is hidden to you is bare before Him. Whilst what you know as a human, is limited.
• Where you could not perceive or see any danger, God knows and sees what you could not see. This is why God would not want believers to live independently of Him.
• When Jesus was rounding up His earthly Ministry, He requested or asked God the Father to send the Comforter or the Helper, that is, the Holy Spirit, to be with those who are believers in Him and guide them in all the affairs of life (John 14:16).
• One of the works of the Holy Spirit among others is, the guiding of believers into all truth. In other words, the Holy Spirit would make known to the believers what might be hidden and look deceptive to them (John 16:13).
• Believers are not expected to live without the Holy Spirit guidance or direction.

• A number believers had succeeded in overcoming sins in the flesh, but they still struggle with the overcoming of the self, the human nature or soul. They are still being led and directed by their Will, mind or thought, and emotion.

• This second battle of overcoming the soul—Will, Mind, and Emotion—is usually difficult for many because it is usually misconceived or misinterpreted as the work of the Holy Spirit.
• Someone who is being led by his or her own will or mind or emotions might ignorantly thought they are being led by the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit. Many things that are being done by many believers are not commanded or instructed by God, even the ministers.
• If the self has not been dealt with or conquered completely, your soul or mind would still be in the control of your life whilst you would mistakenly believe you are being led by God through the Holy Spirit on the inside of you.
• God wants the self and the flesh to be relegated and totally subdued for Him to have total control of a believer's life. If this happened in a believer's life, such a believer would not be led astray and would not be a victim of treading a wrong way or path that seems right but leads to death (Proverbs 14:12; 16:25).

• This issue of the subduing of the soul or mind is a common and major issue among the believers who are considered to be mature.

• What some believers call maturity, or being spiritual, or being led by the Holy Spirit, is not at all; It is being led or controlled by the self, human nature, or the soul which comprises the Will, mind or thought, and emotion.
• A person, believer, who is being led or controlled by the flesh, or the soul, are both considered a carnal believer in the Bible. Whoever is being controlled or led by the flesh, or the human nature or soul, is said to be fleshly. But one's carnality is seemed to be hidden and glorified.
• The believers who are strongly controlled by the self, their mind dictates for them all they do, they never submitted to the leadings of the Holy Spirit at all: "OUR DESIRES FIGHT AGAINST GOD, BECAUSE THEY DO NOT AND CANNOT OBEY GOD'S LAWS" (Romans 8:7 Contemporary English Version).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Whatever is not planted by God in your body, such is uprooted now in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
• The hold is broken totally and the Affliction will never rise again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
