THE BLOTTING OUT OF OUR TRANSGRESSION!

In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace. Ephesians 1:7.

In different destinations in which the word "forgiveness" is utilized, I think it should really be translated as "remission." The word remission simplifies liberty, separation, release; it indicates allowing the wrongs or offences go as like they've not existed before. Your sin, wrong, or error is handled like it never happened; completely separated from you, and also separated from your past life.

Can you give this a thought? Can you imagine what this really mean? A lot of people might be terrified and wonder to ask, "How possibly can this be?" The answer to that is what we see in our opening scripture. The almighty Lord made this according to the fullness of His grace.

This simplifies that the Lord has the capability to totally separate anyone from his/her iniquities like he/she never committed any iniquity, and this is achieved by the power and mercy of the blood of Christ Jesus!

This is strictly not forgiveness, but an upgrade to forgiveness. In the real terms forgiveness is to pardon, and in forgiveness a man is freed from punishment, even if it is on record that you've been an offender. At the time when we were developing as young Christians, there were so many things which we were taught wrongly.

One of such teachings is the belief that remission of sin is for the sinner, while forgiveness is for the Christians. Meaning a newly born again gets his/her sins completely remitted, and afterwards, he/she receives forgiveness on any wrong doing.

However, I want you to give this a thought: if a sinner receives remission and had his/her iniquities totally obliterated, which is not to be remembered, then why should a Christian have his/her own sins on record?

In the real terms, a Christian is not suppose to get something lower or lesser than what a sinner gets. The love which God gave to mankind is the remission of iniquities, and this is what we get in Christ Jesus.

But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. 1 John 1:7. Hallelujah!
