Not Everything is Visible, When It Comes to Demons.

오늘은 '겉으로 드러나는 귀신이 전부가 아니다'라는 제목으로 한번 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.
I would like to talk about demons, uner the title "Not Everything is Visible, When It Comes to Demons."

귀신이 괴성을 지르고 몸을 뻗대고 몸부림을 치는 것을 보신 적이 있으십니까?
Have you ever seen demons screaming, tossing, and turning?

사나운 소리를 내뱉으며 사악한 저주를 뿜어대는 말들을 들어보셨습니까?
Screaming profanaties and curses?

눈이 희번덕거리며 혀가 길게 나와서 돌돌 마는 광경을 보셨나요?
Their eyes gleaming, tongues coming out as if snakes are coming out of the body?

목을 꺾어서 팽이처럼 빨리 돌리고 등을 거꾸로 직각으로 꺾는 희한한 광경을 목격하신 적이 있으십니까?
The neck turning at impossible angles, the back bending backwards?

그칠지 모르는 침과 구역질, 입이 찢어질 듯한 하품과 배가 찢어지는 고통으로 울부짖는 사람들을 보셨나요?
People suffering from nausea, overwhelming secretion of saliva, yawning, and pain of their stomach spliting in two?

쉬익쉬익 뱀 소리를 내며 꿈틀꿈틀 기어 다니는 모습을 보셨습니까?
Have you seen them crawl like a snake?

사람의 입을 통해 귀신들끼리 서로 다투며 논쟁하는 소리를 들어보셨나요?
Demons arguing one another through people's mouths?

저는 그동안 귀신들린 수백 명의 사람들에게서 귀신을 쫓아내면서 기이하고 놀라운 광경을 수도 없이 보았습니다.
I have seen all these strange and frightening scenes as I expelled demons out of people.

그래서 그중 몇 가지의 모습을 말씀드린 거예요.
These I have mentioned are just a few.

이 같은 광경을 더러 보신 분도 계실 것입니다.
You probably have seen something like this.

그러나 제 말을 믿지 못하겠다는 생각으로, 제 말을 들으시며 경악하는 여러분의 표정이 눈에 보이는 듯 합니다.
And I can imagine you, dropping your jaw with disbelief, because it really is hard to believe what I say.

제가 오늘 이런 광경을 묘사한 것은 귀신의 정체를 알리고자 할 목적으로 쓰는 것은 아닙니다.
I am describing these scenes not becuase I am trying to convince you that demons exist.

거꾸로 이런 모습이 귀신의 전부라는 것이 아니라고 말씀드리고 싶습니다.
I am trying to say these are not everything demons are about.

저는 최근 유투브에 동영상 채널을 개설하면서, 우연히 귀신을 축사하는 다른 동영상을 관찰할 기회가 있었습니다.
I have seen video clips of the expulsion prayers and ceremonies as I was preparing my Youtube channel.

그 동영상 대부분은 귀신들이 드러나는 현상을 찍은 것이죠.
The clips mainly show people who are possessed and the symptoms they show.

물론 이런 현상을 직접 목격한 적이 없는 사람들은 소름끼치는 광경일 것입니다.
Yes, it is frightening and odd to see, especially if you haven't witnessed one before.

그러나 저는 이런 사건의 현장에 있는 것이 흔한 일상일 뿐이예요.
For me, it is the norm.

그들은 축사할 때 귀신들이 괴성을 지르고 몸부림을 치며 기이한 말을 퍼붓는 것을 보고, 귀신이 나갔다고 단정하고 있어요.
People think demons have run away when people see them scream and curse when expulsion ceremony is done.

그러나 그 사람들이 집으로 돌아가면 귀신들이 잠복한 현상을 다시 느낍니다.
But when they return home, they feel the same symptoms all over again.

그래서 다시 그들에게 와서 축사를 받으면, 또다시 그런 기이한 현상을 반복하기 일수이죠.
And they repeat the cycle, going in and out of prayer centers for expulsion ceremonies.

그러면서 그들은 전에 귀신이 나갔는데 다시 들어왔다고 말하고 있습니다. 지금까지 귀신을 축사한다는 사람들의 말이 이와 동일압니다.
They usually say the demons have returned. I have heard this from many people, including pastors who hold those ceremonies.

물론 그럴 수 있죠. 한방에 귀신을 죄다 내 쫓는 능력이 불가능한 것은 아닙니다.
Yes, it can happen. You can chase all the demons out at once. It is not impossible.

예수님도 그랬고 사도들도 탁월한 성령의 능력을 보여주면서 귀신을 쫓아내고 고질병을 치유하였죠.
Jesus and the apostles showed great spiritual powers, chasing demons away and healing people.

그러나 예수님이나 사도들이 쫓아냈던 귀신들린 사람들이 다시 와서 쫓아달라고 요청한 사건은 성경에 없습니다.
But there was no case of people returning to Jesus, claiming the demons have come back.

그러나 우리네 주변에는 이런 일이 비일비재합니다. 왜 이런 일이 발생할까요?
But those are common situations in our lives, though. Why is that?

제가 겪은 그간의 경험에 의하면, 한 번의 축사로 귀신이 말끔하게 쫓겨나가는 일은 극히 드문 일입니다.
From my experience, it is really hard to chase all the demons out with just one prayer.

들어간 지 얼만 안 된 귀신이거나 약한 귀신이라면 그럴 수가 있죠.
Yes, it works for the weak spirits.

그러나 수십 년 동안 몸에 잠복하면서 정신질환과 고질병, 각종 중독 등을 일으킨 귀신이라면 한 번의 축출기도로 쫓겨나가는 일이 없어요.
But demons that have been in people's body for decades, causing various illnesses and addictions, will not go away that easily.

물론 저의 축사능력이 다른 축사자의 능력보다 부족해서 그런 일이 생겨날 수 있겠죠.
Yes, it is possible that I am not as strong as others in this ministry.

그러나 제게 온 사람들 중에는 귀신을 쫓아준다는 교회나 기도원을 전전하다가 온 사람들도 적지 않았습니다.
But some people who have come to me had been to other churches and centers to no avail.

만약 그들이 완전하게 해결했다면, 제게 다시 올 일이 있을까요?
If they have succeeded, why would they have come to me?

대부분의 귀신들린 사람들의 몸에 잠복한 귀신들의 숫자는 수천마리가 넘고, 그들의 영적 위력도 천차만별입니다.
Usually, there are thousands of demons dwelling in a person's body, and their spiritual powers are beyond our imagination.

약한 귀신에서부터 센놈에 이르기까지 다양합니다. 센놈이 몸에 들어가서 약한 귀신들을 불러들여서 배나 가슴에 튼튼하게 집을 짓고 있죠.
There are various kinds, from weak to strong. Strong ones enter a person first, and then it invites the weaker, building their nest in the stomach or heart.

그러므로 그들을 쫓아내면 약한 놈들부터 도망치기 시작하여, 중간급은 놈들은 몸을 아프게 공격하거나 괴성을 지르고 몸부림을 치면서 저항하는 것입니다.
So when they run, the weaker ones go out first; the mid-levels ones strike back with pain or screams that human body cannot bear.

그러나 그게 전부가 아니예요. 진짜 센놈은 미혹의 영입니다.
But that's not all. The real strong ones are the spirits of falsehood.

미혹의 영은 말 그대로 속이는 영입니다. 속이는 영은 생각으로 속이는 데 천부적인 재질이 있죠.
They are what they describe, false. They are geniuses when it comes to fooling people with thoughts.

성경에 보면 공생애를 시작하기 전에 금식하며 기도하던 예수님을 찾아와서 말씀을 앞세워 속이는 사탄을 속이는 자라고 소개하고 있으며, 가룟유다의 머리를 타고 앉아 자신의 생각을 넣어주어 속이는 사탄이 바로 미혹의 영입니다.
The Bible describes the Satan who tempted Jesus before he started his ministry as the spirit of falsehood, and it is also he who sat on top of Judas Iscariot and tempted him to sell Jesus off.

그러므로 속이는 영들은 자신의 정체를 드러내지 않고 말씀으로 속이거나, 성령인 것처럼 속이거나, 의심하게 만들거나 좌절하고 절망하게 만들어서 믿음을 한방에 떨어뜨리게 하는 탁월한 위력을 지닌 놈들이예요.
Spirits of falsehood fool people with words and thoughts but never reveal themselves. They pretend to be the Holy Spirit; they make people doubt or despair and ruin the faith people were slowly building.

이것은 이상한 일이 아니니라 사탄도 자기를 광명의 천사로 가장하나니 그러므로 사탄의 일꾼들도 자기를 의의 일꾼으로 가장하는 것이 또한 대단한 일이 아니니라 그들의 마지막은 그 행위대로 되리라(고후11:14,15)
And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. (2 Corinthians 11: 14-15)

악한 자의 나타남은 사탄의 활동을 따라 모든 능력과 표적과 거짓 기적과 불의의 모든 속임으로 멸망하는 자들에게 있으리니 이는 그들이 진리의 사랑을 받지 아니하여 구원함을 받지 못함이라 이러므로 하나님이 미혹의 역사를 그들에게 보내사 거짓 것을 믿게 하심은 진리를 믿지 않고 불의를 좋아하는 모든 자들로 하여금 심판을 받게 하려 하심이라(살후2:9~12)
The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with how Satan works. He will use all sorts of displays of power through signs and wonders that serve the lie, and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved. For this reason God sends them a powerful delusion so that they will believe the lie and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness. (2 Thessalonians 2: 9-12)

그렇다면 대부분의 축사현장에서 괴성을 지르고 기이한 몸부림과 갖가지 말을 내뱉는 놈들이 미혹의 영일까요? 아니죠, 그들은 속이는 데 선수입니다.
Then are the screaming ones the spirits of falsehood? Nope. They are great at fooling people.

그러므로 자신의 정체를 드러내지 않고, 먼저 약한 놈들과 중간급의 귀신들을 내보내서 죄다 나간 것처럼 속이고 있어요.
So they never reveal themselves; they let the weaker ones go and pretend they are all gone.

저도 영성학교에서 축출기도를 하는 시간을 갖고 있습니다.
I hold time to expel demons out at CSA as well.

제가 축사를 시작하면 적지 않은 귀신들이 몸을 비틀며 괴성을 지르며 온갖 수작을 부리고 말을 합니다.
Demons scream out and say things when I start praying.

그러나 기도가 끝나면 언제 그랬냐는 듯이 말짱하게 정상적인 사람으로 돌아옵니다.
But the person returns to his or her normal self when the prayer is finished.

다른 곳에서는 이렇게 기도하면서 귀신들이 다 나갔다고 말할 것입니다.
Other exorcists may say the demons have left that person's body.

그러나 저는 미혹의 영이 죄나 나간 것을 확인하지 않으면 귀신들이 다 나갔다고 인정하지 않습니다.
But I don't make conclusions until I can make sure all demons did leave.

미혹의 영은 소리 소문 없이 들어와서 조용히 사라지는 놈입니다.
Spirits of falsehood come in quietly, and they disappear quietly as well.

그래서 그놈들은 겉으로 드러나는 소리나 몸부림, 기이한 능력이나 현상으로 나갔다는 것을 알아 챌 수가 없죠.
So you can't tell if they have really left or not, just by looking at people turning and screaming.

그래서 저는 성령이 들어오신 증거를 보고 분별하고 있습니다.
I look for proofs of the Holy Spirit's indwelling within people.

성령이 들어오신 내적 증거는 평안함과 기쁨과 자유함이며, 외적 증거는 변화이죠.
The internal prrof is feeling joy and peace, as well as freedom, and external proof is the changes.

하나님이 만져주셔서 거룩하게 성품이 변화하고, 평안한 마음으로 변화하고, 예수그리스도의 제자로 인생관이 변화하고, 가족들이 화목하게 변화하여야 합니다.
God has to reach out to you and change your personality, give you peace, and the way to look at your life even changes. Your family would become harmonious as well.

이렇게 성령이 임재하시는 증거가 없다면 귀신이 나갔다는 것을 인정하지 않습니다.
So if I don't see these proofs, I don't believe all the demons have left.

그러나 미혹의 영에 무지한 사람들은 겉에 드러난 기이한 현상을 보고 성급하게 단정하는 경우가 허다하죠.
But people are usually unaware of these demons' characteristics and overlook; they believe demons have left if they see them doing strange things before their eyes.

그래서 축사현장에서 드러난 외적 현상을 보고 예단하지 마시기 바랍니다.
So don't be so hasty in determining whether demons have left or not, just by looking at how they reacted to expulsion prayers.

미혹의 영은 센놈이며, 이놈을 쫒아내지 않으면 귀신을 완전하게 뽑아낼 수 없습니다. 이 놈은 다른 약한 귀신을 다시 불러들이기 때문이예요.
Spirits of falsehood are very strong, and you can't completely expel all the demons out unless you kick them out as well. If not, they will bring other demons back.
