Yes of course Christianity emphasizes righteousness. However, the contention I am making here is that homosexuality is not a sin. I am of course aware of the Scripture extracts you quoted, but I disagree that they decisively rule that homosexuality itself or homosexual acts are in themselves sinful, for reasons I have stated in the article. And in either case, as Christians we must never cease to act from the base of compassion. So long as we keep that in mind, we can disagree and argue and work out issues like these.
