Are You Still Harboring Pride In You❔
Exhibiting the attitude of humility is one thing that will make one to in the presence of God. Absolutely, from the scripture we have learned that God hates pride. Lucifer who was one of God's blessed angel fell off from his glory due to his pride.
We can read this scripture from Isaiah 2:11(KJV)
The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.
Being a true child of God, be very wise and smart so as to quickly notice any sort of pride and lofty behavior so that you can curb it as soon as possible.
At the time a man begin to consider himself being better than other individuals and also continue to look down on them, it's a clear and vivid symbol which portraits that there is pride in such man. If you have this habit in you, you must ensure to check yourself thoroughly and try as much to stop it.
Some other individuals refuses to give due appreciation to God for his mercies and grace upon mankind, and they also continue to give themselves undeserved praise for making success in their various endeavors. This is pride!
The word of God from Proverbs 16:18 says, "the end of pride is destruction and lofty looks goes before a fall. Dear brethren, ensure to be humble before men and God, in doing so, God will elevate you above your limits. Be blessed!
