PRINCIPLE OF GROWTH

I'm really excited and expectant as this new series begins. Growth doesn’t just happen as we go through life it occurs by reason of an intentional decision, focus, stretch and determination to be the best that we can be in God

The greatest help we can do for ourselves is to ensure that we fulfil our potentials. Many desire growth in their character, spiritual life, ministry, career amongst others and this is very possible.

One day I encountered a scripture that changed my life forever. As a habit I love reading Hebrews 11 (The league of Dangerous men) we know them as the Heroes of faith.

When you are about to conclude that chapter it says;
And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets: who through faith subdued kingdoms, worked righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again. Heb 11:32-35 (NKJV)

Something struck me deep when I saw this phrase OUT OF WEAKNESS THEY WERE MADE STRONG. My eyes were enlightened because I saw something I had never seen in my previous readings.

I saw that these Heroes of faith we all celebrate today exuded a strange order of strength during their life time but I also saw that it was not as though they are any different from me. THIS MEN WERE WEAK but they were MADE. So it was not their birth right to be HEROES but they walked with God following his guidance and they BECAME people who could subdue Kingdoms and obtain promises.

It dawned on me that if I am weak it’s not a big deal THANK GOD I REALIZED but I can also be made strong, if I can give myself to certain principles. It’s left for me to note different areas of weakness and seek to grow and become strong. When the different areas of my life are exuding strength overall I would have also been MADE a MIGHTY MAN not just by POSITION in Christ but an EXPERIENCE in life.

I'll be sharing a lot of practical wisdom.
