We Have No Excuse

The Holy Father created everything we can see
He created all things for his perfect plan
He gave us The Bible so we can learn about The Savior
He gave us these gifts to help us understand

He gave us The Savior to pay the price
Because he loves us, he provided a way
He gave us his law to make us better people
And through The Savior, a way we can pray

God gave us a way to be forgiven of our sins
If you humble yourself and come in bended knee
God gave us a promise if we emulate his son
He'll give us ears to hear and eyes to clearly see

We have no excuse today, it's all at our fingertips
It's easy to find God's word if you will look
God gave us these gifts but we are too busy
To sit down and read his holy book

We don't take the time to study and find the truth
We are too busy always thinking of ourselves
You won't recognize The Savior when he returns
If you leave God's holy scripture's resting on your shelf
