Circumstances Or An Evil Spirit?steemCreated with Sketch.

To everyone who's been following my journey here, you should know that I booked a one way ticket to Bangkok to save my self from commiting suicide with only $300 with me.

When I was in Chiang Mai volunteering, I posted on a Facebook Filipino community group about work trade with food and accomodation to sustain my stay in Thailand. After two days, a Pastor, who claimed to be not associated with any church, called me that he had got a job for me. A week after that I went to his place for me to check if i'd get a good connection with his family. I felt that they were uncomfortable of me, especially his wife, which I guess was because of my tattoos. I tried to be rational and thought to disregard that feeling because I didn't wanna be judgemental just because of "feelings".

So I still stayed, volunteered as an English Teacher at the school that they're working at for 6 hours a week. As well as babysit their kids, a month old baby and a year and half old girl. Also, I became their Personal Trainer, I played badminton and basketball with them and trained them every afternoon. I had to be their nutritionist/cook as well because of the program that I made for them to lose weight. I was enjoying it because I love kids and training.

Days after being with them, we went somewhere for a sightseeing. The time that we were on our way back to their place, their car's wheel got flat and we're stuck in the middle of nowhere for an hour and half. Thanks to lovely Thai's who helped us fix the wheel.

Once we had arrived at their place, the Pastor suddenly asked me if ever I went to a sacred place without asking the spirits permission. I was stunned and scared, I didn't know but I felt terrified from that question. But I answered them, that as far as I could remember, I never went to a place alone, because when I was in Chiang Mai I was always with a group whenever going places.

"Sis, kasi may nakita akong pugot na ulo sa balikat mo. Hindi sa likod, pero sa balikat na mukhang nakahawak sa'yo at mukha siyang evil spirit," he said. *Sis, I saw a decapitated ghost on your shoulder. Not behind you, but seems that he was holding you and it was a destructive evil spirit.

I got goosebumps and told them not to frighten me. But they were serious. They asked me to tell what happened to me here in Thailand, if ever I got into some crazy accidents. So I told them that, around second week of my stay in Thailand I started getting cuts/wounds. First time was when I had a bicycle race with a fellow volunteer, I lost the control of the bicycle. Second time, I got a barbed wire cut on my left shoulder while my hosts were trying to figure out how to help a village affected by a flashflood. Third, when I visited a fellow volunteer that I met in Chiang Mai to celebrate Loi Kratong, I tripped over a rock where I got the biggest and most painful wound that the Katong I made was completely destroyed.

They again asked me what was my history before Thailand. I told them that the first month of working in Kuwait, my father died. The next year, my sister passed away and after two months, my long term boyfriend and I broke up. Also, my another sister committed suicide when I was 16.

To my surprise and disbelief they told me that I was CURSED and had to break the series of unfortunate events in my life by an EXORCISM. I wasn't sure if I had to believe them because for me those were just circumstances and didn't want to think that it was because of an evil spirit! But then, I didn't want to look disrespectful. So I let them do what they wanted, besides I didn't even believe in it. They prayed over me, sprayed olive oil on my forehead, onestly, I was trembling that an evil spirit would posses me and be thrown to the ceiling and talk in a strange voice. It was sad that they had infected fear in my head. Luckily there was no such thing that happened, so they let me hold a thread and cut it with a scissors to cut the evil spirit ties with me and told me that finally, I WAS SAFE, from anything!

So the day after that, I had to go to the beach to meet a friend for the last time before she leaves Thailand. Again, I fell over from the floating docks at the beach. Basically, their exorcism didn't work, BECAUSE NONE OF IT WAS REAL.

Right now, I am in Laos, volunteering in an Eco Farm, having a second thought of going back there to teach. Going back there means I had to join their daily bible study and weekly Sunday church. And I don't want that, I don't wanna be associated in a religion to be honest. But I am broke, so, I might still go back and try to earn before moving. Compromising a little won't be really that hard, will it? I hope, before this week ends, i'd be able to figure out.

Here are some of the pictures of my wounds/cuts:

I hope that you can figure it out. Don't worry friend, God is there. Don't be scared.

Thank you. I'm still trying to figure it out. Wahh!

...Thanks for the reblog on my fitness post!
