Who is Lord in your life?

No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

As a Christian, Who is the Lord of your life?

Who do you obey? Lord means one who has authority and power over others. Who has the power over your life?

Is it money?

In this present age, people have allowed money to be in charge of their lives. Almost everything they do is driven by the quest to accumulate more money. Money makes people steal, lie, prostitute and do all manner of things against our Heavenly Father. Are you among them?

Is beauty?

Beauty is turning a god of some youngsters. Some boys can do anything to attract the attention of beautiful girls. On the other hand, some girls are so focused on beautiful that, all that matters to them is to look beautiful. They engage in all manner of evil to maintain an attractive look. Looking attractive is not bad, but making it your god is idolatry.

What have you enthroned as king in your life?

What you respect most and pay attention to the most is the king of your life.

What is the motivating factor behind what you do?

When you do what you do, what motivates you to do it? Is it money, beauty, vainglory or power? Whatever is your motivating factor could start becoming your God. Watch it. Make Jesus the Lord of your life.

1 Peter 3:15
but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defence to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;
