Part 4. Israel in the center of interest in the world
Let's look at the prophecy about Israel and its meaning for the nations that existed in these times. As a person dealing with Biblical eschatology, the basis for me is to observe events in Israel because Jesus, referring to the questions of the apostles regarding the end and his coming again, said:
Matthew 24 KJV
32
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33
So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
The Bible always presents and compares the fig tree to the very nation of Israel. As we know, this nation was reborn in 1948 exactly on May 14, when David Ben-Gurion, the general director of the World Zionist Organization and the chairman of the Jewish agency for Palestine, declared independence and the establishment of the state of Israel.
This nation, for us - heathen is a kind of clock, a counter to the end times because Jesus predicted that the generation of people who will see the rebirth of the nation of Israel will not die, and all this will be done (signs of the end of reading times Matthew 24).
From the Book of Psalms we can find out how long the generation lasts:
Psalm 90 KJV
10
The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
There is a very important understanding of Israeli existence and its reflection in prophecy, but that's behind us. Let's get to an even more interesting topic.
A prophet named Zacharias prophesied 2,500 years ago that Jerusalem would be a "heavy stone" for all nations that would gather against it:
Zachariah 12 KJV
2
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah and against Jerusalem.
3
And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people: all that burden themselves with it shall be cut in pieces, though all the people of the earth be
gathered together against it
.
As we know, on December 6, 2017, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, officially declared Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, thus triggering global controversy over this decision and its consequences. The controversy was so wide that the General Assembly of the United Nations was organized in which 172 countries participated. One could say, the decision was a formality, that is, the declarations of D. Trump were considered invalid by the power of voice 128 for 9 against, 35 stopped.

On the 13th of December 2017, Muslim countries and leaders organized their meeting under the name Organization for Muslim Cooperation, recognizing Jerusalem as the capitals of Palestine.
Israel is on the languages of the world, it is an undeniable fact. Let's observe ... let's observe because a lot is happening now, especially in Israel.
