The Seal of God

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. 2 Timothy 2:19.

There is something that makes a document genuine, this thing when done also signifies absolute authority of the state. It is called the "SEAL."

The Lord Jesus knows those who are His people: no other seal can be better than this one. Are you sure you are among the people of Christ?

A perfect way to confirm or know this is to fully depart from sin. For the clear fact that the Lord Jesus does not mingle with evil, so also we must ensure we depart from it too. The people who walk in iniquity can never be the people of Christ, and His seal is not upon them. If you're for Christ and you truly walk in His way, then you have the seal of God in you.
