RE: How To Create Your Desire By Your Faith.

in #christianity7 years ago

That's not true. You can't use your faith to get what you want. What did James say?

(James 4:2-4 NIV) You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. {3} When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures. {4} You adulterous people, don't you know that friendship with the world is hatred toward God? Anyone who chooses to be a friend of the world becomes an enemy of God.

The scripture you cited above has got nothing to do with the article in question, that scripture was addressing something else, in fact, it was talking about asking amidst and not receiving answer, if you are a true Christian, your motives will not be in line with what James referred to, rather your motives will be driven towards the things that will bless and edify the soul. Are you saying that it is not possible to have what we want in God? You are wrong, read the article again you will get a better understanding of the topic.
