ACCESSING THE DEEP THINGS OF GOD
1 Corinthians 2:1-10
...But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory, which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory...
The finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross is primarily for the salvation of souls. But in addition, there are numerous benefits embedded in the mystery of His substitutionary sacrifice.
On account of the death of Jesus Christ, there is a revelation of possessing an ability of the Spirit to ascend to a realm where one can access the hidden wisdom of God.
The Bible refers to the hidden wisdom of God as The Deep Things of God.
The means of accessing this wisdom is a mystery and the result of accessing it is glory.
1 Corinthians 2:10-13
But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God...
We receive all things from God by the help of His Spirit.
There is a spiritual system for accessing the hidden wisdom of God resident in His mind. This mystery causes the Holy spirit to search the mind of God and transfer the sought information to you.
Things to note in respect to activating this mystery
- The mind of God is a compedium of infinite wisdom
- The mystery is engaged by speaking
- There are different dimensions of speaking in tongues which have respective allocations of function (e.g intercession, capacity building, power)
The dimension of speaking in tongues that grants access to the deep things of God is the Prayer of Reception. The end of which is a revelation of a previously unknown information.
1 Corinthians 2:14-16
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can He know them, because they are spiritually discerned...
The nature of receiving the manifestation of God's hidden wisdom is a childlike disposition
The character of the Prayer of Reception
- Your mind must be alert as you pray.
- Everything received must be documented or preserved instantly, as spiritual things are volatile.
The forces that keep men down can only be dislodged by divine strategies. What makes certain men unusual is the mysteries that upgrade their lives. You are only hopeless until the mystery leaves heaven and gets to you.
