LIVING vs TRYING

Many people today are trying so hard finding and being who they want to be. We have a restless generation where most people are occupied by the things that they think would meet their contentment. But most end up unsatisfied and unhappy despite of trying really hard.

The problem is that we are created to live, not to try. We are called LIVING beings, not TRYING beings.

“The LORD God formed the man from the soil of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a LIVING being.” - Genesis‬ ‭2:7‬

There is a huge difference between “living out your being” and “trying to be a being.” Trying is done with strenuous effort that results into pride or exhaustion. Living on the other hand is making yourself abide in the source of life, that is, Jesus Christ. He is the vine and we are the branches. Apart from Him we cannot do anything(John 15:5).

Today, stop TRYING and start LIVING. Tap into the source of life instead of trying to have a life. Life is wonderful when we start to let the love of Jesus flow in us and direct us. Have a blessed day!
