The LAST KNOCK

Hello! My dear beloved brother and sister, as the lord has counted you worthy to come in contact with this piece; May you enter into your divine inheritance as you carefully read and respond appropriately to it's demands on you in Jesus name.

Behold, i stand at the door and knock: If any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come into him, and will dine with him, and he with Me. - Rev. 3:20

Yes. It's most likely, you aren't worrying about dying today. In fact, unless you are very old or very sick, you probably don't intend to give it much though until sometime in the far distant, misty, future. Contemplating one's eventual death simply isn't high on most people's list of all-time favourite subjects.

Now, the purpose of this short write-up is not to encourage you to daily focus on your own death. Rather, it is to encourage you to focus on living in such a way that you are ready to die when your sumnons comes. Life is a wonderful precious gift, but we too easily forget that it's only given to us for a time. While we may assume that we will live at least seventy, eighty, ninety or hundred years, no one has promised us that.

Moreover, death never comes as per age. Infants, teenagers, youths, adults and the aged fmdo die; and I am sure you fall into one of these categories.
Therefore, if you are not a true and sincere born again child of God. You are not ready to die. It's that simple. But of a truth no one escapes death.

"What man is he that liveth, and shall not see death? shall he deliver his soul from the hand of the grave?" - Psalm 89:48.

It will come when you least expect; for it is the end of all things in this divide. Whether you are black or white, young or old, rich or poor, low or high, married or single, educated or illitrate.

"Jesus answered and said unto him, verily, verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." - John 3:3

If Jesus Christ is still on the outside knocking at the door of your heart, don't wait another day before you let Him in. You see, one day He will knock for the last time. And when He stops knocking, you won't be able to invite Him in, even if you want to.

Beloved! Jesus Christ is knocking at the door of your heart through this write-up. I urge you, please, open and let him come in, to take charge and be in total control.

"Then said Jesus unto them, again, verily, verily I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep." - John 10:7

I don't know how many times the Lord had knocked before, but i do know that Jesus is still reaching out, calling and hoping to gain an entrance right now. It may be that the last knock has come, do not refuse to open the door, so that it will not be eternally too late. To reject Jesus, is to reject the author and source of your life. To reject Jesus means you have chosen to go to hell and be damned forever along with Satan and his subjects.

"Hear this, all you peoples; all who live in this world: But low and high, rich and poor alike: My mouth will speak words of wisdom; the utterance from my heart will give understanding." - Psalm 49:1-3

Beloved, the big truth is this, One day the money you have been running after, which you use your priviledge position to steal, cheat, manipulate, oppress, or kill to get, will desert you. They will put that money in your hand and the hand will not be able to hold it.

The mansion you laboured so much to build will soon become obsolete and not be able to contain you. A day is coming, when they will put those dresses that you like so much on you, yet, you will look like a misfit, and all the designer wears will turn useless, unless the HOLY SPIRIT redesigned your life.

"Do not be deceived, my beloved brethren. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow if turning." - James 1:16-17

Even the adultery and fornication you could not do without, will desert you. A day is coming when naked women and men will be put before you, and you will be lifeless and not be able to do anything.

A day is coming when your definition of enjoyment will change and you will understand that true enjoyment is to live in God's favour and His will does not mean that everything will be as smooth as butter. One day, you will wear the last dress and then you will take the last drink, which you think you cannot do without. One day, you will eat your last meal. One day, you will read your last book.

"And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God abides forever" - 1 John 2:17

What is it all really worth, when compare to eternity? Don't exchange the temporary valuable for the eternally priceless.
God offers you salvation and a home in Heaven with Him if only you will only give Him your life today. "For what profit is it to a man if he gainsthe whole world, and loses his own soul?" - Matthew 16:26

In conclusion, my loved one, don't wait to answer the door! Let Jesus come into your heart now, tomorrow may be too late. Accept the peace and joy that He alone can bring into your life. You will never regret it.

"May those who are wise understand what is written here, and may they take it to heart. The LORD'S way are right, and righteous prople live by following them, but sinners stumble and fall because they ignore them." - Hosea 14:9

Heavenly Father I "your names" come to you in the name of Jesus. I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I am sorry for my sins, please be merciful unto me and forgive me. Lord Jesus I invite you into my life. I believe you died and was buried for my sake and that your blood paid for my sins and that you rose again to provide me with the gifts of eternal life. By faith, I receive the gift of eternal life and I accept and confess you as my Lord and Saviour. Grant me grace to serve you all my life. Amen.
