Tianducheng was built in 2007 and has a replica of the 108-meter-high Eiffel Tower. And it already has 30,000 inhabitants, a city built in the image and likeness of the French capital. It is located a few kilometers from Hangzhou, the capital of the Chinese province of Zhejiang and was born as part of a broad project that seeks to decongest the big cities of that country that has more than 1300 million inhabitants. It is a style known as "duplitectura" and for the Asian culture it is not seen in a negative way, but it is a tribute that highlights the importance of the "copied" city.
