Erotic service Chaturbate allows streaming video games - but only from an approved list

Chaturbate representatives announced on September 29 that streaming service "for adults" now can hold broadcasts on video games.Service users will be able to run broadcasts on games approved by the moderation, including downloading them directly from the site.

Chaturbate offered game developers, including erotic ones, to enter their projects into the list of allowed projects on a special page, thereby allowing content creators to run them during broadcasts.

At the time of writing the news, the list of approved games includes two dozen projects, mostly of the erotic genre. However, as noted by Kotaku, among others, the indie arcade game Log Jammers has become available to streamers.

Developers of some games rated "18+" became interested in the innovation Chaturbate, responding to the announcement of the service on Twitter. Before for broadcasting video games on Chaturbate content creators received warnings from the platform. This was probably due to the fact that the service did not want to receive complaints from developers and publishers.

Some users on the network reacted to the Chaturbate announcement with humor, calling the service a future competitor to Twitch.
