Steemit Changing Lives: Appreciation for the Help given to this Venezuelan for his Operation

in #charity6 years ago

I am convinced of the brotherhood that exists within the Steemit community and of the faith that many have when they open their hearts to other people, who day by day contribute reciprocally in and out of the Steemit community. For that reason, I went up a project to help a Venezuelan who had to operate for his health.

If he does not remember who he was, Gregorio Antonio Martínez Jiménez is a 59-year-old evangelical Christian; A common Venezuelan, retired but with a second job, has a nice family and goes through difficult situations like everyone else. Gregorio Antonio had a normal life, everything was fine as much as possible. Or at least that's what He thought.

As you already know, he had an intestinal infarction and they had to make an ILEOSTOMY.

An ileostomy is an opening in the abdomen (abdominal wall) that is performed during surgery. The enpng
f the ileum (the lowest part of the small intestine) is carried through this opening to form a stoma, usually on the lower right side of the abdo.

This as you can see is quite complicated and requires a lot of attention and expense on your part to keep the person healthy while waiting to perform the operation to join the intestine.

It is a stricter diet both during the ileostomy and once when they have already been removed. The help he gave was used in some of the exams that had to be done before the operation to make sure that his life did not run any more risk during the delicate process that they were going to do.

Of course, this is a bad situation for anyone. He is too thin because he was not absorbing minerals when he ate. In addition, this type of condition is very expensive and even more so in this country where even finding medicines is difficult and people want to sell it for an excessive price for that reason.

The operation that required cost 800,000,000BsF which is $ 228. It was 600,000,000Bsf before, but because everything in the country rises regularly, he had to keep asking for money. Thank God many people with good hearts helped him pay for this operation, among them Steemit who gave him 10.000.000bsF (2.8 $) that he used to pay for necessary exams before the operation..

As a result of the crisis things increase regularly, like the operation that went up. But not only that, but also the medicines and exams go up if they are obtained or if the exams can be done because the medicines are scarce in the country and some solutions for the exams do not prevent people from doing them either. If we add to these the problems of corruption, as it is that those who attend pharmacies hide the drugs and then resell them more expensive online and take advantage of the needs of people.

The current crisis in the country complicates things as you can see, where it has been required that all your friends and family help you and support with logistics such as: search throughout the country for medicines that are difficult to find, economic contributions, transportation from him to take him and bring him to get regular exams among other things.

This shows us that our human side is always willing to help others even if the situation is difficult. It is said that in situations of crisis we unite ourselves more as people and it is the opportunity that now is offered to us in this world, to show how human we are and to unite as brothers.

He sends his regards for the help and the good heart of everyone in Steemit. In this picture I was going to be operated, this was yesterday (07/16/18). Everything went well and he is recovering in the hospital for a week. Send good wishes for a good recovery and keep improving your health.

At this time He will need more money to maintain a very strict diet and some medications you need in the recovery process. With God's help, he will first provide for him to pay for the rest of his treatment for the total restoration of his health and return to his tasks and normal life.

Once again they are thanked for the attention and help offered, these small contributions can make a difference and above all, show how united many projects like this can be achieved. Keep working to help people in need and always remember to be vigilant if someone needs us.

Great humanitarian work as always. You deserve all the upvotes you can get. Did you get the Byteball airdrop. The process can be a little slow. Unfortunately you'll only get $10 at the current reputation. Maybe you could wait until you hit rep 40.
