Team Wordsmiths - The Written Adventure and Art of Fiction Writing
Fiction writing is an important aspect of creativity, and understanding in different styles. A fiction writer can change elements of a story with a slight twist in the structure of a story.
Our idea is to provide a theme and prompt you to create a story within our guidelines and theme to craft an engaging story with wide illustrations of story writing.
Our team understands that story writing is the process where the writer weaves a series of events leading to the current situation of the characters in the story. It could start with a problem, how they progress and finally the outcome.
A story can be based on real or imaginary events and may involve real-life or fictional characters.
Story writing is done to enhance the imagination of the writer as well as their creative thinking abilities. Story writing can develop into a lucrative hobby once they feel the joy of wandering into the world of fantasy.
We are willing to see the ability of our Steemian friends how write a well-structured story and understand the various elements of fiction writing. Our basic idea is to provide a theme and let them weave their story around it.
For instance, we plan to offer this theme for the first week:-
During a storm, a small cargo ship with 10 people on board got stuck in the middle of the ocean. They had an idea of the area but they were not sure with certainty where they were at that moment since all their equipment had stopped working. Then they saw a small island and somehow reached and anchored there.
Their radio was also not working. The ship was badly damaged. And then one morning the team members noticed that their leader was not on the ship and his boat was also nowhere to be seen.
They searched for him on the island, but he was not found, so the second in command ordered a rescue team for him.
The rescue team searched for him in surrounding areas he was nowhere around. It was very surprising that the leader of the ship disappeared without any information.
This is going to be the base story for the first week and we expect our participants to give us a story based on this theme within one thousand words. We don't care whether the ending is happy or sad but the story should make sense.
Week- 2 Theme
Suppose you are on a ship heading up to see the Spectacular NORTHERN LIGHTS and you wake up one fine morning and run to the deck still rubbing your eyes, amused awestruck and not believing what you were seeing because the dream of your trip is in front of you all ...
"Wow!!!!" Here we go!!!
That's right, you are in Alaska to witness the Northern Lights and watch it … Bright - Oh bright. The lights flash and glow and roll - and they are amazing!!!!
Suddenly, the lights start to crackle with more electricity and FLASH!!!!!
Did you make it? Yes...you made it. Northern Lights blazing in front of you... full-on, The Polar Lights, Hot & Cold. Oh yes, you are the lucky ones having made it to the Northern Lights.
You guys are hearing a massive explosion running through your bodies and watching the unbelievable colors… You're experiencing a kind of ring of light or pressure on your eyeballs while seeing an electric atmosphere.
We shall provide similar themes each week and see to it that Steemians give their version within 1000 words as if they were at the North Pole and witnessing the Northern Lights.
We plan to assess our contestants thoroughly based on the following points and give them out of 10 points-
Based on developing the story 0-3 Points
Character building 0-2 Points
Originality 0-2 Points
AI and Plagiarism 0 or 3 Points
We shall pick four contestants each week with the highest points.

In the end, we are expecting @steemblog to provide us this assignment so to attract Steemians who are writing enthusiasts.
Thank you so much,
As @marito74 says, you will have a mighty challenge to keep out AI generated articles.
How do you plan to deal with this - particularly if you accept posts in any language?
We are a team of four including @waqarahmadshah who is an expert in AI. We shall check everything carefully to ensure that we are not letting AI ruin our project. Beside we all are mods in different communities with access to tools that check AI. Thank you.
When considering our team leader's and other senior members experience, I don't think dealing with AI-generated articles will be a challenge to our team. On the other hand, there are many tools to detect such articles; therefore, we can use those smart tools to find such articles. And also, unnatural flowing of the article will compel us to check their article more carefully. Accepting posts with any language might be harder, but we believe we can improve our detecting tools and encourage users to write their own words.
I am happy that I am also a partner of this important team, our team includes senior and very experienced members like @dove11 who have played almost all the roles of this platform very well, whether it is writing, whether it is moderation, whether it is the role of Steem Representative, whether it is a role of a curator, he has a great understanding of AI generated language, he can know by looking at any article whether it is the product of human mind or AI generated, apart from this, since all the members in our team are professional and intelligent and all are honest and dedicated enlightened members associated with this platform for about 3 years or more. As @waqarahmadshah told that we will check these entries with ZeroGPT, however I also want to say that I have been playing the role of moderator in various prestigious communities for almost a year, such as Incredible India, Steem for Pakistan, Hind Whale Community, and Creative Pulse Community. With our long experience of writing and verifying content, we are able to tell whether the language is AI generated or human generated. Actually, AI generated text has a different style, emotion and speed of writing, while human generated text has a person's imagination and overall experience in writing. Our long experience has taught us that which user may or may not use unethical methods.
I hope you understand and agree with my point of view.
cc: @senehasa for your information.
Wish you success! And fun...! Mainly fun.
Thanks!
I had the good fortune of being a part of this competition under the able leadership of respected @dove11. I am not only hopeful but confident that if this contest is selected by team steem for the 24th season, it will set a new record and all the contestants and we will enjoy it completely. Be ready.
My heartiest wishes to all steemians.

I like your proposal, I would definitely participate, however you have a big challenge with the AI abuses, this has limited that we can enjoy this kind of challenges in the last two seasons. I look forward to enjoying this one, blessings.
Let's hopw for the best but we shall never allow anyone to use AI generated posts.
This is wonderful idea but main focus is stopping Ai that may cause.
Thank You!
