RE: Short story writers: Your December prompt from Write Club
That's a tough one. Perhaps the only time in my life when I was surprised was when applying to an American university, a course of Marxist philosophy that I took in Russia, was credited to me. If anything I thought that in a capitalist America Marx would be a "persona non grata." Back then I didn't know that the entire American academia was very much slanted to the left.
Anyhow, this just means that my story should be completely taken out of imagination without any real-life firmament. )))
