Why did I choose this?
I think this picture represents me in several ways.
There is an emphasis on the interest I like in dealing with popular science (sometimes also in mathematics) and therefore the markers like pie and sigma etc...
I love colors but for some reason I like it so much in black and white.
Signs of continents - something that emphasizes that I love to be connected to the ground

Great logo design requires a complex mixture of design skills, creative theory and skilful application. Any designer worth their salt can create a fit-for-purpose logo, but truly mastering all aspects of the craft takes time.I think your logo is looking beautiful

I sort of agree with you. the last one is great, It's just too Black&White for me. I think it needs more color. but you said that you like it much better in black and white so who am I to disagree with that :)
