Mandelbulb 3D - fractal generation of any complexity

in #cg8 years ago

Mandelbulb 3D is a free editor that allows you to create complex fractal 3d objects and animations. The program is based on the work of Daniel White and Paul Nylander, who created the casing Mandelbrot - three dimensional fractal created using hypercomplex algebra based on spherical coordinates.

In addition to the generation of fractals, the program also has a number of tools for their subsequent rendering and visualization.

Rendering features include: light sources, materials, reflection, depth of field, shadow and blur effects that allows the user to fine-tune your visualization.

Examples of works created in the program:

Mandelbulb 3D is available for Windows and Mac OS .
