What happened to CETOS.io ?

in #cetos6 years ago (edited)

The CETOS project has abandoned EOS.

EOS is a great piece of technology, but not for CETOS, because EOS limits its own potential by asking people to deposit in order to use its services, and therefore placing the trust together with money. It is how it creates its own worth, rather than allowing the freedom of action, without any constraints. Furthermore, it gambles with deposits, as it has gambled the relationship with CETOS. The excuse is to stop the scammers, hackers, spammers, independent developers, small companies, startups, innovators, and anything else that does not contribute to EOS capital... As a technology, it represents a conflict of interests with CETOS aims and goals.

Technology that CETOS needs, whether it exists or not, is a technology that would allow any amounts of transactions, any kinds of transactions, freely and without CPU, NET, and RAM or similar constrains. Furthermore, there should be no consensus, no voting, no drama, no decision-making agents (Human, AI, Other?). Everything should happen by the network and on the network, without any individual or entity being involved other than servers running the network. It should allow the spamming, hacking attempts, scammers, as all of such actions would be in vain. The network should not represent a filter nor the automated intelligence. It should act more as a Newtonian liquid, by becoming harder, the harder it gets hit.

The next goal is to contemplate such a technology, using nothing but the Natural Language Processing and coding. It may be hard to understand, primitive, without coherent results, but it will represent a progress.

It will not be a token, fund-raiser, or anything of such kind. It will be a high-level proposal, whether computationally achievable or not, available for anyone to take and do whatever they want to do with it.

If such technology becomes available, the initial CETOS project will continue by using it. If not, CETOS will continue pursuing a possibility of its existence.

no need for all this drama if a great project turned out to be unprofitable for you.. than you have to fix yourself and not blaming it on the project.

So if I realize that I shouldn't use a screw-driver instead of a hammer, I should fix myself? I am not sure you understood what was said, or that you know what "fix" means, but since you are a certified Block Chain professional, who am I to argue... You earned some $$ with that comment, and that is nice. Have a wonderful day!

yeah.. i did understand what you wrote, but what i don't understand is how you decided to build on EOS first place, knowing it's code and knowing that there are voting, CPU & RAM needed,

unless of course you didn't know that, which makes me wonder if you knew what you were doing in the first place.

Keep dreaming about your project which will most likely never see the light.. not with a management that once didn't even bother to understand the infrastructural of what they are were planning to build their project on.

I am a fan of EOS, but even when trying to look at your post from a neutral perspective, all i can see is someone who is looking for someone to blame for their failure.

I don't want to analyze your reasons, because the possibilities are endless.

I have told you to FUCK OFF, and if you don't get it, then it is your problem not mine.

So the token balance on eos parks is wrong?
Will you still be sending them to the same people? If so thanks. If not cool, I understand the eos network isnt completely user friendly, and a tad bit inconveinent at ALL times(JK)Lol.
Anyways, you guys have a great project so stay at it.

EOS park is wrong. Thanks for a support and kind words. If a separate EOS chain allows what is needed to avoid the conflict of interest, then yes.

I really hope it all works out, and thank you for the response.

I upvoted this post not because they are blaming the eos network, they clearly informed the stake holders and what tthey are expecting from network. It clears the clouds around it.
