Día 9 Capitolio 🇨🇺/ Day 9 Capitol 🇨🇺

Al noveno día visite el Capitolio de la Habana.

On the ninth day, I visit the Capitol of Havana.

En la entrada hay muchas figuras talladas en mármol.

At the entrance there are many figures carved in marble.

En esta fotografía se pueden observar las dos esculturas de bronce a ambos lados de la escalera hechos por el artista Angelo Zanelli que representan La Virtud Tutelar del Pueblo (figura mujer) y El Trabajo (figura hombre), de 6,50 m de altura cada uno.

In this photograph you can see the two bronze sculptures on both sides of the staircase made by the artist Angelo Zanelli representing The People's Tutelage Virtue (female figure) and The Work (male figure), 6.50 m high each one.

Increíble en su interior, en su espacio principal se encuentra el Salón de Los Pasos Perdidos donde se puede observar la estatua de la República, esta es una escultura de bronce tiene una altura total de 17,54 metros, lo que la convierte en la tercera mayor estatua bajo techo que existe en el mundo.

Incredible inside, in its main space is the Hall of Lost Steps where you can see the statue of the Republic, this is a bronze sculpture it has a total height of 17.54 meters, which makes it the third largest indoor statue that exists in the world.

Su infraestructura es hermosa.

The infrastructure is beautiful.

Esta es la cúpula vista desde el interior del edificio.

This is the dome seen from inside the building.

La construcción de red de las carreteras nacionales, están marcadas por un brillante diamante de 25 quilates colocado bajo la cúpula del capitolio que marca simbólicamente el kilómetro 0.
A pesar de estar protegido por un cristal considerado irrompible fue robado en el año 1946 y se recupero al año siguiente por esto por cuestiones de seguridad en 1973 se guarda en el Banco Central de Cuba y se sustituyo por una replica.

The network construction of national roads is marked by a brilliant 25-carat diamond placed under the capitol dome that symbolically marks kilometer 0.
Despite being protected by a crystal considered unbreakable, it was stolen in 1946 and recovered the following year because of security issues in 1973 it is stored in the Central Bank of Cuba and replaced by a replica.

Este día era mi ultimo atardecer así que me fui temprano para disfrutarlo.
Se pueden observar muchos pescadores en la orilla.

This day was my last sunset so I went early to enjoy it.
You can see many fishermen on the shore.
