a story that I never expected
Assalamualaikum sahabat steemit berjumpa lagi dengan saya @baizawianwar kali ini saya akan mengepost tentang kehidupan
That night after shopping for clothes for children at Grand Indonesia, I rushed down to the Arjuna Lobby because I already ordered Gojek to ask for a shuttle back to the Hotel.
Well ... usually if you have an office assignment to the capital, the kids must be noisy if you want to be brought by someone ... usually the name is also not important, how much is the price of the goods that are brought in.
Still waiting for the Gojek pickup that is still on the way, suddenly I was startled by the youth's voice beside me:
"Sir, I can buy my slippers, sir, to exchange me for buying rice ... I haven't eaten, sir"
I noticed that the easy face was rather thin and looked pale. Naturally, if the condition is really on an empty stomach ...
"Which product is Kang?"
"Original made in Bandung sir, and this has also been re-sewn spy stronger" replied the young man quickly ...
I pay attention ... when he sells and goods that are only carried in sacks on the back, it is clearly less attractive to be able to attract buyers ... Moreover, the average person who buys at Grand Indonesia usually buys branded goods ... so what do you want someone to buy?
"What is the price of Kang's sandals?" I asked.
"90,000 sir, hopefully you can get blessings and more" he said while praying ....
That night I actually did not intend to buy sandals ... but saw the face of the young man with hopeful eyes ... let alone look at his pale face, it didn't feel like to refuse ...
"Well I've taken one of his sandals Kang"
With a face that shows excitement, the young man quickly wraps his sandals ...
"This is Kang's money," I said, offering Rp.100,000.
"I briefly pulled out the exchange for the change first, sir?"
"No need, change it for you." I said as I passed ...
I saw a happy heart and thank you many times for accompanying the steps of my feet to the place where Gojek has been waiting for me .....
Well ... that's sustenance. He came and went to the will of the Supreme Giver of sustenance.
The ineffectiveness of the seller of the sandals was to offer his wares to everyone he met bringing him to meet me who finally melted to buy his merchandise ...
What I did was actually nothing too special ... but I kept learning to be able to give the slightest value ....
I was actually inspired by the story of the famous Ulama Kita Aa Gym at a meeting ....
According to Aa Gym's story, on one occasion ever
met a wealthy person and he didn't want to be named
"Speaking of the world, he is already quite enough. Even for all his descendants, God willing, guaranteed," said Aa Gym
"What is always interesting to me when meeting such people is to find out his personality." Aa Gym continued.
Apparently he has one habit from the past, namely buying small merchants even though they don't need them.
In fact, when he was rich, he had employees specifically for traveling, looking for broom traders, pottery traders, caping traders, weaving fan traders, and the like.
Those who usually sell on foot or ride a bicycle. The seller is old. He intends to divide his sustenance through it.
I ask, why is not given alms? Amazingly his answer.
"They are trying, I do not want to lower their efforts. Let them get 2 pleasures.
First, the merchandise sells.
Secondly, they are not discouraged, because in today's world of modern malls and shops, there are still people who buy their wares. "
Subhan Allah.
And after being purchased, the item will be distributed back to him to anyone. Hearing this habit, I'm sure. This practice is the key to his wealth.
Because actually, whether he realized it or not, he was doing 3 practices at once.
- Alms.
- Help the difficulties of fellow Muslim brothers.
- Happy other people's hearts.
No wonder if his wealth mounts unusually. Because Allah has seen that he deserves to manage a lot of wealth. This also becomes an afterthought for all of us. Especially me.
Is there any intention in the heart, for every sustenance that we will later get we will distribute to others?
Or are we still only intending to collect wealth, because we want to look rich alone?
Maybe we should seriously ask ourselves. Don't get richer, the heart gets greedy.
Even though it is a property. He will give satisfaction only if he is distributed. And it will give less flavor if it is stored.
Remember always to be humidzon to God ... don't despair quickly from Rahmat and his fortune ....
Absolute sustenance affairs in his hands ... we are only required to endeavor to pick him up.
Hopefully useful ...... 🙂🙏
