Feast of the Precious Blood (Quezon City, Philippines)

Dating back to the very life of Our Lord, Christians have always been devoted to the Most Precious Blood of Christ. Principally, this devotion is centered on the Eucharist itself and the reception of Our Lord in the Sacrament of the Altar.

Yet, over the centuries, many saints have developed other prayers and devotions to Christ through His Precious Blood. In the Roman Catholic Church, a special feast was instituted, and Mass is now celebrated annually in honour of Christ's Precious Blood.

Over two hundred years ago, one Catholic mystic, Saint Gaspar del Bufalo, even founded an entire order, the Missionaries of the Precious Blood, dedicated to this most holy of devotions.

There is so much more to learn about this devotion, and one of the best ways to learn is to attend the Mass, to listen to sermons from our priests, and to participate in devotions to Christ's Precious Blood.

Although there will Masses offered all over the world to Christ's Precious Blood on July 1st, there will be a special Mass celebrated in Luzon by Fr. Jojo Zerrudo.
