The key to any foundry is fuel and air volume. Propane, Charcoal, Coal, Oil and other fuels are most often used; but are not necessarily easily available or affordable.
This wood burning foundry design is constructed of simple scrap items and acheives the same melting results for ideal casting of metals.
Since making this video, I have changed one item; and that is the blower. I now use a low cost leaf blower with a speed control. No matter what fuel you use, air volume is the key to a high heat burn.
