Meet Foxy! :)
Since I am going to be posting content relating to cars, I thought I'd write up a post on my own car. Going through a few "bad" cars, I finally picked up a 1990 Volkswagen Fox. I remember sitting on Gumtree ZA one night searching endlessly for a good deal, until I came across the Fox.
Long story short, when I picked up the car, my level of excitement was on another level as I had so much planned for the car. Of course, the finances were not where they needed to be in order for the car to look the way I wanted. However, I had the ability to put some cash aside and buy part by part over the course of 2 years. My very first thing I had done to the car was when I had bought a set of OEM+ mudflaps and Thule roof racks.
After saving up for a few months, I had the chance to buy my VERY first set of rims!, I felt as if I had made it in life lol. I was very hesitant for a choice in rims, but my friend had advised me on the rim in the below photo:
As you can see by the photo, my choice in tire size was not the greatest:
Through my journey of owning the car, I had hit small bumps in the road (figuratively) where parts broke and needed to either be fixed or replaced. Being a very pedantic person, I simply follow the DIY rule unless it was something that I could not fix myself. From changing small cosmetic, mechanical, electrical parts to servicing, I always had and continue to have my own hands on my car.
To this day after owning the car for around 2 and half years, I have managed to get the look I had visioned.

To this day, I try and drive the car as least as possible. She is due for her 150 000km service in the next week, which I will vlog and post on my Youtube channel.
Thank you!
