Lamborghini Centenario (CARS DETAILS)
The Lamborghini Centenario is one of the most special sports ever produced by Lamborghini. It is a limited edition to 40 units, created to commemorate the birth of Ferruccio Lamborghini, founder of the company. Although not as exclusive as the Lamborghini Veneno, its V7 of 770 hp is the most powerful ever made by the brand, and its dynamics is the most accurate and sharp of its history. Its production is sold in full, at a price that before taxes starts at 1.75 million euros.
Only 40 units will be produced, 20 with coupe body and 20 with convertible body. They are all sold, at a price that starts at 1.75 million euros.
The new Lamborghini Centenario has an atmospheric V12 engine of 6.5 liters in center-rear position. With a focused tuning to the circuit and maximum performance, develops 770 hp power. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds, it does 0 to 300 km / h in 23.5 seconds and its maximum speed is more than 350 km / h. It is able to brake from 100 km / h to completely stop at 30 meters, an excellent figure possible thanks to a powerful team of ceramic carbon brakes.
Lamborghini has been inspired by aviation to design the Centennial. It is a supercar based on the platform of the Lamborghini Aventador, and its dimensions are somewhat higher: 4.92 meters long and 1.14 meters high. Both its monocoque chassis and its body are made of carbon fiber, which allows a weight content of 1,520 kilograms. The aerodynamics of its body is active, has been designed in the wind tunnel and has a large retractable rear spoiler, in addition to a functional diffuser complex.
The Lamborghini Veneno is another of Lamborghini's latest one-offs, of even more limited production than the Centennial.
The chassis of the Lamborghini Centenario will feature 20-inch front tires and 21-inch rear tires, wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires developed specifically for this sport. Its rear axle is directional, with the aim of allowing a better turn by curve. As is customary in Lamborghini, it has permanent all-wheel drive, with a favorable rear-wheel drive layout.
