Sitting Around $6K in Total Value in Splinterlands in a Depressed Market
The beauty of splinterlands is that while a set is active and the supply of cards is running rampant the prices of the cards sink pretty far down, but if you're smart, you'll stack while prices are low instead of selling out of anger that your card values have dropped.
The end goal is to hoard as many cards as you can until the supply runs finish and the cards start to become harder and harder to get your hands on because one thing is always true of these card games and that is that they force you to have to own or collect cards from various sets in order to stay competitive.
That brings long term value to the holders of these cards and the ones that have stayed true to holding and weathered the storm so to speak.
We're over 9 million cards sold now and several of the reward cards approaching 70% of their mint runs so we're moving toward the end of some of these cards in maybe the next 6 months or so.
