Video from Cardano Tokyo Launch Event and Update on Cardano Roadmap
Dear Readers,
It’s been a busy few weeks for Cardano. After our recent launch on Bittrex, Cardano staff and supporters met on 14th October for a launch event in Tokyo. The event was a resounding success, with thousands of people watching the event live from all across the world. In this newsletter we have some footage to share from the event, as well as an update over what to expect in the weeks ahead.
Tokyo Launch Event
On Saturday 14th of October, Cardano Foundation, IOHK and Emurgo successfully co-hosted an official Cardano launch event in Tokyo. The event's purpose was to celebrate the public launch of Cardano, showcase what the project is all about, and thank the community who have supported Cardano since inception. The event was a major success, around 500 people attended with many thousands more watching live via the Cardano Community Facebook group. The Cardano community has grown far beyond Japan now, with supporters of the project tuning in from the UK, Canada, USA, Australia and Spain to name just a few.

How to best receive technical support for Daedalus?
We would like to remind community members that if you experience any technical issues with the Daedalus wallet, you should report these directly to the Daedalus team. You can do this at the Daedalus website in the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. Here you can learn about common problems, or submit a support ticket. Support queries are extremely important as they help the Daedalus team to plan for future updates. We encourage you to provide as much feedback as you can when submitting a support ticket.

What’s coming up for Cardano?
The next major announcement for Cardano comes at the end of this month. IOHK will release the Cardano roadmap, which will give the blueprint and timeline for Cardano’s development. The roadmap will give details on what features and technologies are being integrated into Cardano, and the estimated dates for when this will happen. This is a key document for the project, tying in all the hard work that is being done by development and research teams in cities and universities all across the globe. We will also be organising community events around the release to help explain and answer questions about what the roadmap means.
