Sunday Squish
Been having a lot of fun squishing up my weed this weekend & taking dabs on dabs on dabs on dabs.
This was an outdoor Ayahuasca Purple squish. About an eighth ground up into a 90 micron bag, probably yields 10-15% back into rosin. You do lose some in the bag which I don’t like
To solve the problem, I started to pre press in a bag, then remove the weed puck & squish it without the bag. You get a little weed flakes in the rosin with out the bag, but is easily separated so wastes less compared to the bag.
Really enjoying the finished product, got me so high it’s levitating.
What’s really interesting about rosin is how the high differs from flowers from the same grow. For instance, my lemon kush headband I grew some months back ended up making me feel a little anxious when I smoke the flowers, but is a really nice uplifting hi with no anxiety when pressed and dabbed.
Also pressed some of my cbd weed & absolutely love the body hi from the rosin. Definitely feel more of the cbd effect when it is in high potency form. Gave some of my first batch away to my friend who left his press here but plenty of outdoor rosin to go around. & I have 7 or 8 different indoor strains to squish up and try out while this press is still here 😆
Time to take 7 dabs & sink into the couch like Bubba the dog
Thanks for stopping by 🤝
Very tasty sounding. You seem to have lots! Yay :D
I love extracts for medicine and recreation. Rosin is great in theory but I usually don't enjoy the taste. I still want to get a small press for home use though.
Ya, lots of rosin & plenty of flower left over as well. Good outdoor weed feels like a bonus from nature.
I like the theory & reality of rosin over any other extract I’ve tried. Especially for home use, pretty cool to be able to take any bud & extract the essence in a matter of minutes. Chemical free!
Nice haul!
What do you have planned for the ABS? (already been squished)
Ya, plenty of ammunition. Soon as I squish the rest, I’ll be pouring some everclear into a jar full of rosin cakes & letting it marinate for several weeks to make a nice tincture
